GAMMA (the Georgia Alliance of Musicians & Music Advocates) is a new organization dedicated to supporting today’s artists while cultivating the next generation of musicians, leaders, and music advocates, offering members opportunities to engage in meaningful music‑centered advocacy, access educational initiatives, and help strengthen Georgia’s music ecosystem from the ground up. Through events described as providing “great talks, networking, and good vibes,” GAMMA creates space for musicians, educators, and industry professionals to connect, collaborate, and build community around shared goals in Music, Advocacy, Education, and Community. Joining GAMMA allows individuals to become part of an energized, mission-driven network committed to uplifting both current and future contributors to Georgia’s creative landscape.
At GAMMA, we aim to highlight the contributions of African-American composers and performers while offering workshops, events, and a platform for dialogue. Join us in our mission to celebrate diversity in music and build a supportive network for all musicians.
